Her reference to a variety of motivators such as starting with the teenagers interests, choosing reading material which they can readily understand, provide material which they can successfully and enjoyably understand are in line with solid motivational theory, yet, Carney wisely dispenses her knowledge of these matters,with direct, clear, and interesting language. The only thing missing is someone to share her life. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I read a review where someone criticized the author for not giving lyrics to the song that Fox writes for Molly. As for Ian Boxall, a quick Google search lets you know that he's a young Oxford scholar who has previously published on Revelation (or a personal fitness trainer, but I'm guessing it wasn't him that wrote this book). But I chose to follow John Blumberg's suggested process which was rich and rewarding. I really wanted to like this book - it has some great plot elements and interesting characters - but, in the end, it was just too much melodrama for my taste. The characters in Mummy’s Little Angel are some of the sickest I’ve ever read about.
